About
Just a little bit about me -
I am a cat-loving, colour-loving gal who has always wanted to be an artist ever since I was a little kid. I am now 27 years old working full-time as an artist and graphic designer.
I just love creating! I love making things that bring people hope and make people smile and laugh. I enjoy highlighting and amplifying the beauty and goodness in the world and making thoughtful and complex pieces that give people a greater sense of gratitude for life and for the people they share life with.
Art makes love and light last long.
My own practice and business continues to grow as I expand my work to new clients in new industries, build up my portfolio and continuously add to my store. I look forward to more opportunities to work with and collaborate with businesses in the future and I am committed to providing clients with the best possible experience through my evolving artistic expression.
Art is more than you realise.
Start realising. Art has power. It creates effect, response and emotion. It is a voice, a means of communication, expression, thought. Art reflects moments and jolts memories. It breathes beauty and appeal. Art can advertise and sell goods. It arouses painful, ambitious and heavy conversations about topics often left untouched. Art is culture. It can comfort people. Art can be, and for me personally, is escapism. It has the ability to take an artist elsewhere to a space where they lose the hurt, worry and anxieties of reality and the natural world. We as artists walk into a sense of duty to create and follow the enjoyment of creating. We can be dreamers. We stand and give weight, purpose, love, time and energy to the images, objects and words we share. Art is fundamental and can shape an individual. Everyday, everyone steps into their own individual, artistic profile whether intentional or not. You wear the clothes you do. You favour colours and shapes. You give more attention to these favoured colours and shapes than that which you do not favour as much. You pick a cup to drink from. You scroll through social media and respond to a certain subject or aesthetic in which you identify. You decorate your life and home. I believe this is art. It occupies all of our eyes and minds so much yet more and more of the world has wrongfully confined the term to shallow, meaningless strokes on a surface. Take a step back. Can you not see and feel the value in these things. Start realising.
Art is more than you realise.
